Under the direct supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, the institute conducted interviews for postgraduate program applicants on the morning of Wednesday, July 1, 2026, for the 2026–2027 academic year. The interviews covered the following programs: the Higher Diploma in Laser Applications in Sciences, the Higher Diploma in Biological and Medical Laser Applications, and the Master’s Program in Biological and Medical Laser Applications.
The interviews were chaired by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Saif A Mohammed, who headed the specialized committee responsible for conducting the interviews. The committee evaluated applicants based on scientific and personal criteria, in addition to verifying their academic, psychological, mental, and physical eligibility, in accordance with the approved ministerial regulations and instructions for postgraduate admission.
The interviews took place in an organized atmosphere characterized by precision, smooth workflow, and transparency, reflecting the institute’s commitment to implementing approved admission standards and selecting qualified scientific candidates for its academic programs.
These interviews are part of the ongoing postgraduate admission procedures for the 2026–2027 academic year. They also reflect the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies’ commitment to adopting solid scientific foundations in student selection, in order to prepare distinguished scientific and research personnel capable of serving the community and advancing the level of scientific research.
At the end of the committee’s work, the Assistant Dean and committee members expressed their best wishes for success to all applicants, hoping that their efforts would be crowned with admission and that they would continue their academic journey in a way that contributes to serving society and enhancing scientific research.
