Based on its humanitarian mission and societal role, The Institute of Laser for postgraduate Studies – University of Baghdad, under the patronage of the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, and supervised by the Assistant Dean, Lecturer Dr. Saif A. Mohammed, is honored to participate in serving the visitors of Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) who are heading to commemorate Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
This is done by providing various forms of support and services that contribute to ensuring the comfort of the pilgrims during their blessed journey.
The Dean of the Institute affirmed that this initiative embodies the values of solidarity and volunteerism, and reinforces the culture of community service. He pointed out that the Institute’s staff, including professors and employees, have devoted their efforts and resources to contribute to serving the visitors, reflecting a spirit of belonging and national and humanitarian responsibility.
The initiative included providing hospitality, water, juices, and food, in an atmosphere dominated by cooperation and sincerity in serving the visitors of the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him).
This participation comes within a series of community initiatives that the Institute of Laser is keen to implement, affirming its commitment to its humanitarian role alongside its academic and scientific mission, and strengthening the values of giving and volunteer work in service to society.
