Assistant Professor Dr. Tahrir Safaa Mansour, a faculty member at the Institute of Laser at University of Baghdad, chaired the master’s thesis defense committee in the Department of Communications and Mobile Computing Engineering at College of Engineering, University of Information Technology and Communications. The thesis was presented by the researcher Anfal Raad Dusher and was titled:  
“Reliable Layered Transmission and Task Offloading in UAV-Assisted MEC Networks for Disaster Relief”
This participation comes within the framework of the faculty member’s scientific and academic activities, her contributions to specialized scientific forums, and her role in evaluating and discussing research in the fields of communications and modern technologies. The thesis addressed the topic of communication reliability and task offloading in unmanned aerial vehicle networks, and their utilization to support communications and digital services in disaster and emergency situations.
Dr. Tahrir Safaa Mansour’s role in chairing the defense committee reflects the active academic presence of the faculty members of the Institute of Laser at University of Baghdad, and the extension of their academic contributions in scientific forums.
