Researchers from the University of Baghdad maintain outstanding research performance in the Scopus database.

The latest statistics from the Scopus database have shown the continued excellence of University of Baghdad researchers at the level of Iraqi universities. The list of the top (20) researchers at the university in terms of the number of indexed publications included a group of academics who have achieved outstanding research accomplishments, reflecting the university’s academic standing and its leadership in scientific research.

The list also featured Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, who ranked second at the University of Baghdad with 157 publications indexed in the Scopus database. This achievement underscores his academic excellence and his continuous research contributions in supporting the university’s journey and enhancing its presence in global indicators.

This accomplishment reflects the advanced level attained by University of Baghdad researchers in the field of reputable scientific publishing, and confirms the university’s commitment to promoting research output, supporting researchers, and elevating its position in accredited international rankings and indicators.
