On the morning of Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at University of Baghdad received applicants for the newly introduced programs for the 2026–2027 academic year to sit for the competitive examination, as part of the admission procedures for the Higher Diploma and Master’s programs.
The exam was conducted in a highly organized atmosphere and a suitable testing environment provided by the institute’s deanship to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
The exams were held under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, and were overseen by the relevant examination committees. All administrative and technical preparations had been completed, and the examination halls were fully prepared and equipped with all necessary requirements. This ensured a suitable exam environment that facilitated the smooth performance of the test, with full compliance with the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in a manner that guarantees the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and academic rigor in the admission process.
The introduction of these academic programs comes within the framework of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies’ efforts to develop its educational programs and expand postgraduate study pathways to meet labor market needs and scientific advancements. This aims to prepare specialized personnel with scientific and research competence in various fields of laser applications, thereby enhancing the institute’s academic and research standing and leadership.
