Under the auspices of the Dean of the Institute of Laser, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, the Continuing Education Unit at the Institute organized a scientific workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence and Laser Technologies.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed S. Mohammed, a faculty member at the Institute, and was attended by a number of professors and staff.
The workshop addressed the concept of artificial intelligence and its most important modern applications. The lecturer reviewed the prospects for integrating AI technologies with laser systems, and how this integration provides innovative solutions that contribute to improving performance and accuracy, as well as accelerating analysis and diagnostic processes. He also highlighted the challenges in this field, particularly regarding data collection and work integration between AI specialists and laser systems experts.
The workshop witnessed active interaction from attendees through discussions and inquiries that enriched its topics, affirming the importance of keeping pace with modern technological developments and benefiting from them to support scientific research and develop academic and professional skills.
The Dean presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer in recognition of his scientific efforts and contribution to the success of the workshop.
