The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Institute of Laser organized a tree-planting campaign as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 13: Climate Action. The campaign aims to protect the Earth’s environment and climate and to take the necessary measures to address climate change and its negative impacts on the environment and communities.
The campaign was attended by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, and the Assistant Dean, Dr. Saif A. Mohammed, along with faculty members and staff.
The tree-planting campaign highlighted the importance of increasing green spaces and preserving the environment, as well as the role of plants in enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the Institute, purifying the air, and raising environmental awareness among students and employees.
The campaign aims to promote a culture of environmental care, expand the green area within the Institute, and encourage a spirit of cooperation and community participation, thereby contributing to a more beautiful and healthier learning environment.
