University service staff are the backbone of academic and administrative stability and continuity of the educational process in Iraqi universities. They play a crucial role in supporting faculties, departments, and administrative and scientific units, ensuring the smooth operation of institutional performance and providing the best educational and research services. Any decision that affects the rights of this group or impacts their job stability directly and negatively affects the entire university environment, influencing the level of performance and efficiency. This requires dealing with such issues with a high sense of responsibility and job justice.
In this context, we highly appreciate the responsible and supportive stance taken by Dr. Raghad Abdul Razaq, Asst. President of University of Baghdad for Administrative Affairs, in defending the rights of university employees and preserving their job gains, and promoting a stable work environment based on fairness and mutual respect.
Based on the principle of job justice and the need to ensure the stability of academic institutions, we hope that the concerned parties will reconsider the decision to cancel the university service and work to cancel it, to ensure the restoration of this service to its rightful employees, preserve their legitimate rights, and promote job stability, which will positively impact the stability and development of the university environment as a whole.
