The workshop “Academic Profiles” was organized by the Continuing Education Unit at the Institute of Laser for to develop academic skills and enhance the scientific presence of faculty members and researchers. The workshop covered topics such as creating and managing electronic academic profiles, documenting scientific output, and enhancing research collaboration opportunities. It also explored prominent academic platforms and update mechanisms in line with academic accreditation and classification requirements.
Prof. Dr. Fadel M. Lafta, Head of the Department of Medical and Biological Applications, presented the workshop, highlighting the importance of academic profiles in showcasing research output and facilitating collaboration. The Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, attended the workshop and presented a certificate of appreciation to the presenter for his valuable contribution.
