Based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the respected Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the auspices of the Dean of the Laser Institute for Postgraduate Studies, the respected Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Jawad, the Laser Institute for Graduate Studies has organized a workshop on the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week, in the presence of the institute’s faculty, staff and students.
The workshop aims to shed light on entrepreneurship and small projects for emerging youth and encourage them to engage in the labor market. The workshop included two lectures: The first is about entrepreneurship and its importance in Iraqi society. It was delivered by the institute’s guest, the economic advisor (Nour Bassem Al-Taie), where the lecture focused on guiding students to be entrepreneurs and how to engage in the labor market and market their scientific products and various skills, and the most important specifications that entrepreneurs possess.
The second lecture was delivered by the Head of the Engineering and Industrial Applications Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Rawaa Ahmed Fares Al-Saadi, regarding the website (Professional Communication Network, LinkedIn).
It is considered the largest professional network in the world via the Internet, where we can obtain a suitable job or obtain practical training and obtain skills from the site that will benefit us in our professional path. She also explained how to write a CV to get job opportunities.
