Under the auspices of the Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Kadhum A. Adem, the Unit of Scientific Affairs at the institute held a scientific workshop titled: “Effective Performance of Advanced Laser Techniques in the Field of Cosmetology,” presented by lecturer Dr. Dina A. Kafi. The workshop addressed the latest practical and theoretical applications of laser techniques used in therapeutic and dermatological cosmetology, focusing on the efficiency of performance and ensuring the safety of results. The workshop highlighted the most prominent uses of laser in cosmetology, including: pigmentation removal, acne scar treatment, skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, skin tightening, and collagen stimulation. The workshop also discussed the advantages of these techniques and the need to employ them according to precise medical standards that ensure effectiveness and reduce side effects.
