Under the patronage of the Institute’s Dean, Prof. Dr. Kadhum Abdul-Wahid Adem, the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at University of Baghdad organized a humanitarian voluntary campaign to support blood disease patients at the City of Medicine. The campaign was participated by a group of professors and staff members of the institute.
This initiative is part of the institute’s efforts to enhance its social role and solidify values of solidarity and human compassion through field initiatives that contribute to serving the community. The campaign included symbolic gifts to patients, especially children, which included recreational supplies and suitable toys, as well as symbolic health materials for adult patients, aiming to bring joy and boost their morale during their treatment journey.
The Dean expressed his admiration for the participation of professors and staff members, emphasizing that this event is part of a series of planned activities to promote a culture of volunteerism and community engagement. He affirmed that such initiatives will continue in the spirit of giving and responsibility.
