The Human Rights Unit is one of the units within the organizational structure of the Laser Institute for Graduate Studies. Its aim is to instill human rights principles and promote a culture of human rights within the academic environment, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and relevant international standards.
The unit is responsible for raising human rights awareness among students and faculty through seminars, workshops, and educational programs. It also monitors human rights issues within the institute and coordinates with relevant authorities to address them within the legal and administrative frameworks.
Furthermore, the unit contributes to fostering a university environment based on the principles of justice, equality, and respect for human dignity. It works to promote positive behaviors and reject all forms of discrimination, thereby creating a safe and stimulating learning environment conducive to creativity and excellence.
