Based on the directives of Prof. Dr. Raghad A. Razzaq Al-Hashimi, Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Administrative Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Kadhim AbdulWahid Adem, Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, a field visit was conducted by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Saif Aqeel Mohammed, to the Institute on Sunday, 22-03-2026, to inspect the institute’s approaches, infrastructure, and buildings.
The visit was accompanied by the head of the Security Permits and University Follow-up Unit, the Civil Defense Officer, Civil Defense Guards, and the evening guards. Various facilities of the institute were inspected to ensure their readiness and the safety of the procedures in place.
The fire systems and extinguishing systems were inspected and found to be working well with high efficiency. A field inspection of the electrical distribution boards was also conducted to ensure their technical safety and readiness.
After the field inspection, it was found that there were no sources of danger, and the situation was normal and stable. The importance of continuing periodic monitoring to maintain a safe and organized university environment was emphasized.
