Under the auspices of the Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, the Unit of Scientific Affairs at the institute held a workshop entitled “How Laser is Changing Patients’ Life”. The workshop was presented by Dr. Abbas Al-Sahen, Director of Al-Wasiti Teaching Hospital, and attended by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Saif Aqeel, and a number of professors and staff members.
The workshop discussed the latest medical applications of laser and its role in improving patients’ lives by accelerating diagnosis and treatment processes. It also reviewed the latest technical developments in modern devices used in specialized hospitals. The presenter provided clinical examples illustrating the impact of laser in enhancing healthcare quality and reducing complications of traditional procedures.
At the end of the workshop, the Assistant Dean presented a certificate of appreciation to the presenter on behalf of the Dean, in appreciation of his efforts and contribution to supporting the institute’s scientific and training programs.
