Under the auspices of the Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, the Engineering and Industrial Applications Branch held a scientific session to discuss PhD students’ research seminars. This was part of its annual plan to follow up on research progress and enhance the quality of scientific outputs.
During the session, students presented summaries of their research, explained the main objectives, topics, and methodologies followed, and presented the expected key results and research challenges they are working to address.
The members of the Scientific Committee also provided valuable comments and guidance that contribute to raising the scientific level of the research. They emphasized the importance of adhering to rigorous research standards and supporting innovation in the applied, medical, and engineering fields of laser.
This step comes within the Institute’s ongoing commitment to following up with its students and encouraging them to complete their research at the highest scientific levels, thereby enhancing the Institute’s position as one of the leading centers for postgraduate studies and scientific research in laser technologies.
