The Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, represented by the Continuing Education Unit in collaboration with the Scientific Affairs Unit, organized a workshop entitled “Laser Application in Gene Therapy”.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, the Continuing Education Unit in collaboration with the Scientific Affairs Unit at the Institute of Laser organized a scientific workshop entitled:

“Laser Application in Gene Therapy”.

The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Asmaa M. Saleh, faculty member at the Institute of Laser, in the presence of a number of faculty members, staff, and researchers at the Institute.

The workshop addressed the most important modern applications of laser technologies in the field of gene therapy, and their role in developing therapeutic methods used in treating genetic and incurable diseases. It also highlighted the mechanisms of employing lasers to deliver genes to target cells with high efficiency and accuracy, thus contributing to advancing scientific and medical development in this vital field.

The workshop also witnessed scientific interaction from attendees through questions and scientific discussions that enriched the workshop topics.
