Under the auspices of the Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Unit at the Institute of Laser, held a scientific seminar titled “ The Impact of Laser on Modulating Epigenetic Marks.” The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Fadhil M. Lafta, Head of the Medical and Biological Applications Department at the institute, in the presence of a number of faculty members and staff.
The seminar addressed the advanced role of laser technologies in influencing epigenetic marks and the mechanisms of their modulation. It also highlighted the latest scientific studies on the use of lasers in medical and biological applications, and how this contributes to the development of scientific research and modern treatments.
The seminar witnessed active engagement from attendees through scientific discussions and questions that enriched the seminar’s topics and enhanced its scientific benefit for the participants.
At the end of the seminar, the Dean presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer in recognition of his scientific efforts and contribution to the success of the seminar.
