The Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad received a delegation of professors and fourth-stage students from the Department of Biomechanical Engineering / College of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology, as part of a scientific visit aimed at exploring the latest laser devices and technologies available in the Institute’s specialized clinics and laboratories.
The delegation was received by the Assistant Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, Lecturer Dr. Saif A. Mohammed, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of such scientific visits in enhancing academic cooperation and exchanging expertise among Iraqi universities and scientific institutions.
The visit program included a field tour of the scientific laboratories and medical clinics, during which the specialized staff—Ms. Manal Hameed, Ms. Dima Jawad, Ms. Inas Abdul Amir, and Mr. Atheer Rasheed—provided a comprehensive explanation of the operation of medical and engineering devices and their applications in research and therapeutic fields.
At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation expressed their admiration for the advanced level of technologies and equipment available at the Institute, praising the scientific competence of its staff.
The Assistant Dean affirmed that the doors of the Institute of Laser are open to all academic institutions to learn about the latest technologies and research, contributing to community service and supporting the scientific process.
