The Institute of Laser held a workshop titled “Self-Development for the Ambitious Woman”, under the auspices of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, supervised by the Women’s Affairs Unit in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit.
The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Farah Ghanim Saleh, a lecturer at University of Baghdad / College of Education for Women. The workshop covered important topics focusing on developing self-capabilities, enhancing self-confidence, and building leadership personality for women in the academic work environment.
The lecture also reviewed the most important scientific methods that help women achieve a balance between professional ambition and societal responsibilities.
The workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Saif A. Muhammad, and a number of professors and lecturers at the institute, who emphasized the importance of holding such events that contribute to supporting and empowering women scientifically and professionally.
At the end of the workshop, the Assistant Dean presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer on behalf of the Dean, valuing her distinguished scientific efforts and her active contribution to the success of the workshop.
