Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, Dean of the Institute of Laser, the Unit of Scientific Affairs organized a discussion session titled “Skills Gained from Working While Studying”. The session was presented by Dr. Hussein A. Hashim and attended by the Assistant Dean Dr. Saif Aqeel, faculty members, and staff of the Institute.
The session highlighted the importance of combining study and work, and the role of practical experience in enhancing students’ skills, particularly communication, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving. It also addressed the challenges faced by working students and offered practical solutions to help them balance academic and professional commitments.
At the end of the session, Assistant Dean Dr. Saif Aqeel presented a certificate of appreciation to the speaker on behalf of the Dean, acknowledging his efforts in supporting the Institute’s scientific activities.
