The Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at University of Baghdad received a delegation of professors from the Department of Medical Physics, College of Applied Sciences, University of Fallujah, for the third phase. The visit aimed to explore the latest laser devices and technologies available at the institute’s clinics and specialized laboratories.
The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the Institute of Laser, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, and the Asst. Dean, Dr. Saif A. Mohammed, who emphasized the importance of such visits in strengthening scientific cooperation and exchanging experiences between Iraqi universities.
The visit program included a field tour of the scientific laboratories and research medical laser clinics, where the specialized staff, including Ms. Manal Hamid, Mr. Athir Rashid, and Ms. Walaa Ajami, provided a detailed explanation of the medical and engineering devices and their usage mechanisms in research and therapeutic applications.
The visiting delegation expressed their admiration for the advanced level of devices and technologies available, as well as the scientific expertise possessed by the institute. The Dean of the institute affirmed that the institute’s doors are open to all academic institutions to explore the latest technologies and research offered by the institute in service of society and the scientific community.
