Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Jawad, the esteemed Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, and in the presence of faculty members and staff, the Medical and Biological Applications Branch at the Institute organized a workshop on “Ultrasound in the Detection of Eye Diseases.” The workshop, spearheaded by lecturer Dr. Dina Ahmed Kafi, aimed to elucidate the significant role of ultrasound waves in meticulously examining the internal structure of the eye. This diagnostic modality enables the detection of any organic ailments or diseases within the eye, facilitating accurate diagnosis and subsequent prescription of treatment without adverse effects on the patient. The workshop was conducted on 02/05/2024.
