The Council of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at University of Baghdad held its fourth session for the academic year 2026-2027, chaired by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, and attended by the Assistant Dean, Lecturer Dr. Saif A. Mohammed and the heads of scientific branches, to discuss academic and administrative files that contribute to developing institutional performance and improving the educational and research process.
The session emphasized enhancing general cleanliness and providing a healthy university environment, and taking legal and disciplinary measures against cases of exam cheating in accordance with approved regulations, in addition to employing financial resources in reconstruction, rehabilitation and maintenance works, while preserving the heritage character of the buildings.
The Council also stressed updating the official website of the Institute, especially its content in English, encouraging students to follow up on activities and global academic rankings, as well as following up on scientific citations of published research, and completing the procedures for health insurance cards for staff and employees, in coordination with the relevant university authorities.
