The institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad held a meeting with the faculty members and staff of the Department of Biological and Medical Applications, chaired by the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, attended by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Saif Aqeel, and the Head of the Department of Biological and Medical Applications, Professor Dr. Fadhil Lafta.
During the meeting, the academic and administrative work in the department was discussed, along with the major challenges facing the educational and research process. The discussion also focused on ways to develop scientific performance and improve the quality of educational services provided to students.
The Dean emphasized the importance of cooperation and teamwork to achieve the Institute’s scientific and research goals, stressing support for initiatives that contribute to promoting scientific research, developing laboratories, and infrastructure. The faculty members and staff expressed their appreciation for the Dean’s interest in following up on the scientific departments’ affairs, confirming their commitment to contributing effectively to the development of the scientific mission of the Laser Institute for Postgraduate Studies and serving the community.
