The Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at University of Baghdad received a delegation of professors and students from the College of Applied Medical Sciences, fourth stage, from Karbala University. The visit aimed to familiarize them with the latest laser devices and technologies available in the institute’s clinics and specialized laboratories.
The delegation was received by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, and the Assistant Dean, Dr. Saif Aqeel. They welcomed the visitors and emphasized the importance of such academic visits in strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences between Iraqi universities.
The visit included a tour of the scientific laboratories and medical clinics, during which the specialized staff, including Dr. Ahmed M. Hassan, Dr. Mohammed Ghalib, and Ms. Manal Hamid, provided a comprehensive explanation of the operation and applications of medical and engineering devices in research and treatment.
The visiting delegation expressed their appreciation for the advanced technologies and equipment available, as well as the scientific expertise of the institute’s staff. The Dean of the Institute emphasized that the Laser Institute is open to all academic institutions to showcase its latest technologies and research, in service to the community and in support of the scientific mission.
