The Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies/University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Kadhum Abdul-Wahid Adem, visited the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Postgraduate Studies. He was received by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Wathiq Abbas Al-Draji.
The visit aimed to strengthen scientific cooperation between the two institutes and achieve shared research and academic goals. During the visit, Dr. Al-Awadi briefed the Dean of the Institute of Laser on the scientific halls, administrative units, laboratories, and classrooms. The Dean of the Institute of Laser also reviewed the development and reconstruction efforts underway at the institute.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Salwa Al-Awadi expressed the Institute’s readiness for full cooperation with the Laser Institute to serve students and enhance the academic journey. This step reflects several Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, including Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
