In a productive scientific atmosphere, Professor Dr. Kadhum A. Adem, Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad, received a group of first-stage students from the College of Science / Department of Physics – University of Baghdad, under the supervision of a group of professors from the Department of Chemistry. The visit aimed to familiarize the students with the latest laser technologies and their applications in medical and engineering fields.
The Dean was accompanied in the reception by Dr. Saif Aqeel Muhammad, Assistant Dean, and the Head of Medical and Biological Applications Branch, Asst. Prof Dr. Leila Muhammad. The students toured the institute’s specialized laboratories, where they were introduced to modern laser devices used in various applications. They also received a detailed explanation presented by Lecturer Muhammad Ghalib Rozoqi and Mrs. Manal Hamid on the mechanism of operation of the devices and their role in scientific research and development.
The students showed great interaction and interest, expressing their admiration for the advanced capabilities that the institute possesses, and confirming the importance of such visits in enhancing the practical and knowledge aspects of their academic journey.
