Assistant Professor, Dr. Layla M. Hassan participates in a patent within the activities of the 6th International Scientific Conference of the Institute of Genetic Engineering.

The Head of the Medical and Biological Applications Department at the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, Asst Prof. Dr. Layla M. Hassan , participated in the patent exhibition as part of the activities of the 6th International Scientific Conference of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnologies, which was held at Al-Hakim Hall at University of Baghdad. The conference was attended by the Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Kadhum A. Adem, who emphasized his continuous support for researchers.

It is worth noting that the participation was through a patent for designing a laser biosensor to optically differentiate between pathogenic and normal clinical bacterial isolates with high speed and high accuracy compared to traditional devices, at a lower cost, and with the possibility of using it for a long period of time.
