The Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies organizes a tree planting campaign in celebration of the National Tree Planting Day.

To commemorate National Tree Planting Day and in response to the directives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Presidency of the University of Baghdad to expand green spaces within and outside the university to preserve the environment, the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies launched a tree planting campaign under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Kadhum AbdulWahid Adem, and field follow-up by the Assistant Dean, Asst. Prof Dr. Saif Aqeel Mohammed, and with the participation of a number of instructors, staff, and students of the Institute in planting trees and flowers in the gardens and courtyards of the Institute, with the aim of increasing green spaces within the Institute’s campus, which contributes to improving the university environment and supporting the academic reality.
