Under the patronage of the Dean of the Institute of Laser for postgraduate studies, Professor Dr. Kadhum AbdulWahid Adem, the Institute of Laser, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized an awareness lecture entitled “Drugs and their impact on humans, and the laws related to drugs” at the Dr. Mazen Manuel Hall.
The lecture was presented by instructor Ghufran Ameer Talib, and it addressed the negative effects of drugs on society, the great harm caused by drug addiction, and the legal risks resulting from the spread of this phenomenon, as well as how to confront it by enhancing awareness and education through the establishment of workshops to reduce its spread.
The lecture was attended by a group of high diploma students from the Institute.
