Due to the University of Baghdad’s distinguished academic reputation, Assistant Professor Dr. Rawaa Ahmed Faris, a lecturer at the Laser Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, has been selected as a scientific reviewer for the journal Vibrational Spectroscopy, which is ranked among the international Scopus and Clarivate rankings and published by the prestigious international publishing house Elsevier. The journal will evaluate seven scientific papers in the field of biosensors, vibrational spectra in biochemical analysis systems, and modern materials science. The journal is ranked in the second quartile (Q2) with an impact factor of 1.8 and a citation factor of 10.2.
Vibrational Spectroscopy is one of the leading journals in the field of vibrational spectroscopy. Founded in 1990, the journal publishes in-depth scientific research related to spectroscopic techniques, particularly those based on vibrational measurements of materials. The journal covers a wide range of topics, including applications in chemistry, physics, materials science, biology, and other advanced fields. The journal is characterized by rigorous peer review and contributes significantly to advancing development in this field by publishing innovative research that contributes to a deeper understanding of the vibrational properties of materials and their various applications.
