The Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Scientific Affairs Unit at the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Role of Laser in Biology”, under the auspices of the Dean of the Institute of Laser, Prof. Dr. Kadhum A. Adem, and in the presence of a number of faculty members, affiliates, and institute staff.
The workshop included a scientific lecture delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Laila Mohammed Al-Ameri, faculty member at the Institute of Laser. She discussed the role of laser techniques in biological fields and modern applications used in scientific research, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as the importance of lasers in advancing biotechnological and medical techniques.
The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from attendees through scientific discussions and questions that enriched the workshop topics, emphasizing the importance of continuing to hold scientific activities that contribute to enhancing academic and research knowledge.
At the end of the workshop, the Director presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer in recognition of her scientific efforts.
