A delegation from the Institute of Laser visits the Karbala Center for Studies and Research to discuss prospects for academic and research cooperation.

Under the auspices and guidance of the Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, a delegation from the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, headed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Layla M. Al-Amiri, visited the Karbala Center for Studies and Research affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in the holy city of Karbala. The visit aimed to discuss prospects for academic and research cooperation between the two sides and to strengthen joint scientific collaboration.

The visit included an expanded meeting that addressed ways to develop cooperation in academic and research fields, exchange expertise, and discuss the possibility of organizing joint scientific activities including seminars, conferences, and workshops that contribute to supporting the scientific and research process.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening communication between academic institutions and research centers, which positively reflects on the development of scientific studies and service to the community. They stressed the need to benefit from the scientific capabilities available to both parties to achieve knowledge integration and expand the fields of scientific research.

This visit comes within the framework of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies’ approach to opening up to research and scientific centers and strengthening ties of joint cooperation to contribute to advancing the academic and research level.
