As part of enhancing the University of Baghdad’s prestigious scientific reputation and affirming its active role in supporting scientific research and contributing to international academic evaluation, Assistant.Lecturer Mustafa Hamed Neda, an instructor at the Laser Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, was selected as a scientific reviewer for the “Journal of Optics”, based on an official certificate issued by the global publisher Springer Nature, confirming his contribution to reviewing five scientific research papers during 2024.
The journal is classified within the third quartile (Q3) globally, reflecting the high scientific level of researchers affiliated with the University of Baghdad. “Journal of Optics” is a specialized scientific journal published by Springer Nature, covering various fields in optics and photonics, such as laser science, photonics, quantum optics, and advanced optical materials technologies. The journal provides a global platform for publishing leading research in these fields, enabling scientists and researchers to share knowledge and recent scientific developments.
The selection of Asst.Lec Mustafa Hamed Neda as a scientific reviewer acknowledges his research competence and ability to evaluate scientific studies according to the highest academic standards. This achievement also highlights the University of Baghdad’s leading role in the global academic scene, through its effective contribution to supporting the quality of scientific research and enhancing international research cooperation by reviewing specialized studies in optics and photonics.
