Under the auspices of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Kadhum A. Adem, the Institute of Laser organizes a workshop on ‘The Effects of Tree Planting on Climate in Baghdad’.
The workshop, presented by Assistant Lecturer Layla M. Mohammed and Agricultural Engineer Zahraa R. Hwaidi, highlighted the significance of afforestation in mitigating climate change and reducing dust storms in Baghdad. The event emphasized the importance of expanding green spaces and promoting environmental sustainability.
The deputy Dean praised the speakers’ efforts and presented them with certificates of appreciation, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to supporting scientific activities that foster environmental awareness.
