A: Yes, because the announced courses are officially approved courses with formal endorsement from the Presidency of the University of Baghdad. They are advanced courses in the field of specialization, as they are designed based on the requirements of academic rigor approved by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. We do not believe that the ministries have any objection to the development of their staff within advanced specializations such as the specialization of modern laser applications.
Q: What do you mean by “Academic Rigor” for the courses provided by the Consultation Office of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies?
A: The academic rigor of the courses provided by the Consultation Office of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies meets the following conditions to fulfill the requirements of academic rigor:
A- The scientific curriculum of the course is designed according to the academic description form approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Department.  
B- Availability of specialized teaching staff with scientific titles to supervise and teach the subjects of the advanced course curriculum.  
C- Availability of classrooms, educational means, medical research laser clinics, and specialized laboratories in the field of laser.  
D- All candidates are subjected to practical and theoretical tests as a basic requirement for granting the course completion certificate.
Q: What are the steps to register for the course?
A: Registration and seat reservation are done in two steps:  
1.  Paying the course subscription fee via electronic payment.  
2.  Two colored photos.  
3.  Proof of the participant’s specialization in the course, such as the official graduation certificate issued by Iraqi universities or international universities.  
4.  For employees in the public sector: bring a letter of support from the participant’s department stating the specialization and addressed to: (University of Baghdad / Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies / Consultation Office of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies).
Q: Where are the subscription installments paid?
A: At the Management Room of the Consultation Office / 3rd Floor of the Deanship Building of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies. Located in the University of Baghdad Complex / Al-Jadriya – Baghdad.
Q: Can the course certificate be used in the job market?*
A: Yes, because the trainee will be subjected to a rigorous scientific curriculum and course completion tests, within a professional development program and to achieve the goals of employment and developing the outputs of Iraqi universities and other universities recognized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Note that the certificate is issued by University of Baghdad / Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies / Consultation Office.
