Consultative Office at the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies.
The Consultative Office at the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies was established in accordance with the Law of Scientific and Consultative Services Offices in Educational Institutions No. 7 of 1997 and its amendments. The Council of University of Baghdad decided in its meeting held on 6/9/2004, and based on the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on 4/10/2004, to establish the Consultative Office at Institute.
The Consultative Office at the Institute of Laser specializes in providing technical and scientific consultations in the fields of laser and optoelectronics. It is also responsible for inspecting, installing, and maintaining laser devices and related medical and industrial equipment. The office also conducts laboratory tests when specialized personnel are available. One of the office’s tasks is also to prepare specialized training courses under the supervision of professional and academic staff from the institute’s faculty members and graduates, to ensure the quality of outputs and the employment of graduates, and to enrich the labor market with professional cadres with the highest standards.
