The Institute of laser for Postgraduate Studies participated in the second exhibition of scientific and service products, which was held under the slogan (Made in the University of Baghdad) in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad.
Twenty-four colleges, four postgraduate institutes, and eleven research centers participated in presenting their scientific and service products in various fields in industry, agriculture, health, medicine, engineering, renewable energy, science, and patents.
This exhibition is a gateway to partnership and building bridges of cooperation between the University of Baghdad, government ministries and private sector companies
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Mounir Al-Saadi, and a number of respected scientific and academic personalities.
The participation of the Laser Institute was a group of scientific systems and equipment manufactured by the institute’s professors and their students at a low cost compared to the imported one.
As for the systems, they are:
1- A laser sensor for climate variables
2. Biaxial laser irradiation
3- A laser biosensor
4- A 3D printer
5- 3D router
6- Constructing a laser with a retrodistribution by using a tonometer and a Saniac fiber cavity grating in optical communications that serve liberal security.
7- Quantum computer
In addition to the participation of the consulting office with a presentation of the scientific and advisory services it provides
The Dean of the Laser Institute, Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Jawad, presented to the Minister of Higher Education and the President of the University of Baghdad the metal medallions engraved with their images, which were engraved by a high-speed pulse laser in nanoseconds made in the laboratories of the Laser Institute.
