The Laser Institute for Postgraduate Studies, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Kadhum Abdul Wahid Adem, participated in the celebration of the National Day of the Holy Quran. During his speech, the Dean of the Institute called for “adhering to the teachings of the true religion and following the goals of our noble Messenger and the importance of the Quran as a guiding beacon for promoting human values.” The ceremony included verses from the Holy Quran, listening to the national anthem, reciting Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs, and a speech by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of appreciation shields to the participants from the memorizers of the Holy Quran and a photo exhibition.
The reception ceremony for the Minister included the Dean of the Laser Institute and a group of professors and deans of the colleges of the University of Baghdad.
