The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the Institute of  laser for Postgraduate Studies conducted a workshop titled: “ Common linguistic errors in the English language when writing scientific research.” The session was led by A.M.D. Ramia Fouad Abdel Aziz, a lecturer from the English Language Department at the College of Education for Girls, University of Baghdad.

During the workshop, Dr.Ramia sheds light on the frequent linguistic errors committed by researchers in their scientific writings across various disciplines. Drawing from her extensive experience in linguistically evaluating theses, dissertations, and scientific research, she identified some of the most critical mistakes. The discussion also touched upon the influence of social media on the improvement of scientific research writing skills and highlighted the key areas of focus for learners in this domain.
