Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Kadhim A. Adem, Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies at University of Baghdad, the Institute hosted the Women’s Affairs Section at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad to hold a workshop entitled “The Role of Women in Spreading Positive Culture in Society”, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.<\/span><\/h6>\n
The workshop was organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Institute in cooperation with its counterparts in the College of Engineering and the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, as part of implementing the National Strategic Plan for Iraqi Women for the year 2025-2026.<\/span><\/h6>\n
The workshop included three working papers that addressed the themes of psychological and positive energy and the pioneering role of women in building cultural awareness and community development, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ilham Ali Baewee, Lecturer Dr. Hanaa Sami Bashir, and Asst. Lec . Maysaa Fawzi.<\/span><\/h6>\n
The event was attended by a number of faculty members and students, including Prof. Dr. Ghassan Majid Abdul Hamid, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Salwa Jaber Al-Awadi, Dean of the Institute of Genetic Engineering.<\/span><\/h6>\n
At the end of the workshop, the Dean presented certificates of appreciation to the lecturers in recognition of their active contribution to the success of this workshop<\/span><\/h6>\n
