As part of the scientific cooperation and exchange of experiences between academic institutions, the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies – University of Baghdad received an academic delegation from the Laser Cosmetic Techniques of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Ahl al-Bayt University. The delegation included a group of distinguished professors and students and aimed to enhance knowledge and explore the latest advancements in medical laser technologies and their advanced applications.<\/span><\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
The delegation was welcomed by:<\/span><\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
– Professor Dr. Kadhum Abdul-Wahid Adem, Dean of the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies<\/span><\/h6>\n
– Dr. Saif Akeel, Assistant Dean<\/span><\/h6>\n
– Assistant Professor Dr. Layla Mohammed Al-Ameri, Head of the Medical and Biological Applications Department<\/span><\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
The visit included a detailed tour of the specialized research clinics at the institute, which feature advanced laser devices used in:<\/span><\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
– Cosmetic medicine<\/span><\/h6>\n
– Dentistry<\/span><\/h6>\n
– Ophthalmology<\/span><\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
The visitors received a detailed scientific explanation of the devices’ mechanisms and learned how they are utilized in clinical and research applications under the supervision of a specialized scientific team with extensive experience in laser technology and its applications.<\/span><\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
The visiting delegation expressed great admiration for the advanced scientific level and praised the modern technologies available at the institute, as well as its role in supporting scientific research and developing medical applications in Iraq.<\/span><\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
At the end of the visit, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Kadhum Abdul-Wahid Adem, welcomed any future scientific cooperation, emphasizing that the institute’s doors will remain open to all universities, researchers, and students wishing to benefit from its capabilities. The institute will continue to fulfill its scientific and research mission to serve society and advance the academic journey in Iraq.<\/span><\/h6>\n
